🌏 여행하는 이시운입니다.
여행을 좋아하는 이유는 사람마다 다르겠지만,
가만히 생각해 보면 저는 예전부터 물과 함께하는
시간을 좋아했던 것 같습니다.
바다가 보이는 곳.
수영장이 있는 곳.
따뜻한 스파와 욕조.
그리고 아무것도 하지 않고 천천히 쉬어갈 수 있는 여행.
언제부터였는지는 잘 모르겠습니다.
그저 자연스럽게 그런 곳들을 찾게 되었고,
시간이 지나면서 그것이
제가 좋아하는 여행의 모습이 되었습니다.
2024년 가을, 베트남 나트랑으로
떠났던 여행 역시 그랬습니다.
사실 거창한 계획을 세우고 떠난 여행은 아니었습니다.
맛있는 음식을 먹고,
천천히 쉬고,
수영을 하고,
그리고 평범한 일상을 잠시 내려놓고 싶다는
생각으로 떠났던 여행이었습니다.
하지만 여행이 끝난 지금 돌아보니,
그 평범했던 시간들이
오히려 더 오래 기억에 남는 것 같습니다.
🌿 초록이 가득했던 첫날
나트랑에 도착하고 가장 먼저
느꼈던 것은 생각보다 훨씬 많은 초록색이었습니다.
거리 곳곳에 나무와 식물들이 많았고,
식당이나 마사지숍들 역시 자연과 어우러진
분위기를 가지고 있었습니다.
천천히 걸어 다니기만 해도 여행을 왔다는 기분이 들었고,
한국에서의 바쁜 일상과는
다른 느린 시간이 흐르는 것 같았습니다.
낯선 나라였지만 이상하게도 마음은 편안했습니다.

🌏 I'm Siwoon.
Everyone has their own reasons for loving travel, but when I think about it, I believe I have always enjoyed spending time around water.
Places with beautiful ocean views.
Places with swimming pools.
Warm spas and relaxing bathtubs.
And journeys where I can simply slow down and rest without doing much.
I'm not exactly sure when it all started.
I just naturally found myself drawn to those kinds of places, and over time, they became the kind of travel I truly enjoy.
My trip to Nha Trang, Vietnam, in the fall of 2024 was very much like that.
It wasn't a journey planned with grand expectations.
I simply wanted to enjoy delicious food, relax, swim, and take a short break from everyday life.
Looking back now, however, I realize that those ordinary moments have remained in my memory longer than anything else.
🌿 A First Day Surrounded by Greenery
The first thing that caught my attention after arriving in Nha Trang was how much greenery there was.
Trees and plants could be seen everywhere, and even the restaurants and massage shops blended beautifully with nature.
Just walking around slowly made me feel like I was truly on vacation, and time seemed to pass at a gentler pace compared to my busy life back in Korea.
Although it was a foreign country, I strangely felt at ease.

🌙 베트남의 밤은 낮보다 아름다웠다
해가 지고 난 뒤 찾아갔던 식당 입구.
천장에 달린 수많은 등불들과 벽돌로 만들어진 긴 계단은
마치 다른 세상으로 들어가는 입구처럼 느껴졌습니다.
화려하지는 않았지만 따뜻한 조명과 조용한 분위기
덕분에 하루 동안 쌓인 피로가 조금씩 사라지는 것 같았습니다.
여행을 다니다 보면 유명 관광지보다
이런 작은 순간들이 더 오래 기억에 남기도 합니다.
🌙 Vietnam's Nights Were More Beautiful Than Its Days
One evening, after the sun had gone down, I found myself standing at the entrance of a restaurant.
The countless lanterns hanging overhead and the long brick staircase made me feel as though I were stepping into another world.
Nothing about the place was particularly extravagant, yet the warm lights and the peaceful atmosphere slowly melted away the fatigue of the day.
As I travel, I often realize that it is moments like these, rather than famous tourist attractions, that remain in my memory the longest.
지금보니까 저러고 하루종일돌아다녀보았었네여 ㅎㅎ
♨️ 여행의 행복은 거창한 것이 아니었다
맛있는 음식을 먹고,
마사지로 피로를 풀고,
숙소에서 푹 쉬고,
수영장에 몸을 맡기고,
아무 생각 없이 하늘을 바라보는 것.
생각해 보면 행복이라는 것도 거창한 것이 아니라
이런 평범한 순간들이 아닐까 하는 생각이 들었습니다.
♨️ The Joy of Travel Was Never About Anything Grand
Enjoying delicious food,
relaxing with a massage,
getting plenty of rest at the hotel,
floating in the swimming pool,
and simply gazing at the sky without a single thought.
Looking back, I realized that happiness doesn't always have to be something grand.
Perhaps true happiness is found in these simple, ordinary moments.
🌊 가장 행복했던 시간
이번 여행에서 가장 기억에
남는 순간은 역시 수영장이었습니다.
높은 곳에서 바라본 나트랑의 풍경.
멀리 보이는 산과 도시.
그리고 끝없이 이어지는 파란 하늘.
물속에 몸을 담그고 가만히
풍경을 바라보고 있으면 시간 가는 줄도 몰랐습니다.
복잡했던 생각들도 잠시 잊게 되고,
몸도 마음도 한결 가벼워지는 기분이 들었습니다.
아마 그래서 저는 지금도 바다와 수영장,
그리고 물과 관련된 것들을 좋아하는 것 같습니다.
🌊 The Happiest Moments
Without a doubt, the most memorable moments of this trip were spent in the swimming pool.
The beautiful scenery of Nha Trang seen from above.
The mountains and the city stretching out in the distance.
And the endless blue sky overhead.
As I quietly immersed myself in the water and took in the view, I completely lost track of time.
For a while, I was able to forget all the complicated thoughts in my mind, and both my body and soul felt lighter and more at ease.
Perhaps that is why I still love the sea, swimming pools, and everything related to water.
다시봐도 장관이지싶어요 ㅎㅎ
🦞 잊지 못할 저녁
저녁에는 JJ Seafood에서 랍스터와 해산물을 먹었습니다.
여행을 가면 꼭 비싼 음식을 먹어야 하는 것은 아니지만,
그날만큼은 "여행 왔으니 한번 제대로 즐겨보자"라는
생각으로 마음껏 먹었던 기억이 납니다.
가격은 시간이 지나면 잊혀지겠지만,
함께 웃고 이야기하며 보냈던
시간은 오랫동안 추억으로 남을 것 같습니다.
Still, I can't help but think that the view was absolutely breathtaking. 😊
🦞 An Unforgettable Dinner
That evening, we enjoyed lobster and fresh seafood at JJ Seafood.
Travel doesn't always have to be about eating expensive food, but on that particular day, I remember thinking,
"Since we're here, let's treat ourselves and enjoy it to the fullest."
And that's exactly what we did.
The price will probably fade from memory as time goes by,
but the moments we spent laughing, talking, and enjoying the evening together will remain as cherished memories for a long time.
Looking back now, I realize that those memories were worth far more than the meal itself.
🌅 노을을 바라보며
하루가 끝나갈 무렵 바라본
나트랑의 노을은 참 아름다웠습니다.
도시는 천천히 주황빛으로 물들어 갔고,
저 멀리 산 너머로 해가
지는 모습은 한 폭의 그림 같았습니다.
그 순간 문득 이런 생각이 들었습니다.
"나중에 다시 힘들어질 때,
오늘의 풍경을 떠올리면 조금은 웃을 수 있지 않을까?"
🌅 Watching the Sunset
The sunset over Nha Trang, which I watched as the day slowly came to an end, was truly beautiful.
Little by little, the city was painted in shades of orange, and the sight of the sun setting behind the distant mountains looked like something out of a painting.
At that moment, a thought quietly crossed my mind.
"Perhaps someday, when life becomes difficult again, remembering this view will be enough to make me smile."
Even now, I believe some memories stay with us not because they are extraordinary, but because they bring us comfort when we need it most.
마무리
여행이라는 것은 특별한 장소를 많이 가는 것이 아니라,
평범한 순간들을 특별한
추억으로 만들어 주는 힘이 있는 것 같습니다.
그리고 언젠가 시간이 흘러 다시 이 글을 읽게 되었을 때,
"그때 정말 행복했었구나."
하며 미소 지을 수 있었으면 좋겠습니다.
앞으로도 여행과 취미,
그리고 새로운 발견들을 천천히
기록해 나가보려고 합니다.
